I finally made it over to the LA Central Library to see the To Live and Dine in LA exhibition in its full glory. It showcases local menus from the library’s collection, spanning decades and a myriad of cuisines. It paints an interesting picture of not just the culinary history of LA, but a history of the city itself. I wrote about the thought process behind the exhibition and book of the same name in Paste Magazine.
Go check out the exhibition while you can—it’s on display until November 13 and is free and open to the public. Plus, it’s an excuse to go to the library!
